Eclipsed: A Cosmic Reflection on Humanity’s Brightest Mistake
2026-01-16
Intro
After many months of quiet preparation, writing and erasing notes, scouting locations in both urban and remote settings, and speaking to some amazing people in the field of astronomy, I am proud to officially announce my upcoming documentary film: Eclipsed.
Eclipsed
Eclipsed is a film about our fading connection with the universe and it examines what it really means for humanity to lose its view of the stars, while also raising awareness about the effects of light-pollution on humans and the ecosystem in general.
Light pollution is not just an environmental issue, it is the loss of our cultural heritage and our sense of place in the cosmos, as currently 80% of humanity lives under light-polluted skies, and one-third of humanity can no longer see the Milky Way Galaxy from their homes.

The film is currently in full production, and our amazing team keeps working and traveling to many locations to document this silent crisis. We are aiming for a Global Festival Premiere in Fall 2026.
Meet the Team
At this point I want to introduce you to my amazing team:
I am honored to be working alongside my partner, Vaios Vitos (Co-Director & Co-Producer), whose vision is integral to the film’s development.
Supporting the production are our talented assistants, Angelos Tzortzakis and Konstantinos Mpakouris, two very talented photographers who bring fresh energy to our demanding on-location shoots.
However, it isn’t only about the expeditions out in the field. It is also about the important work happening behind the scenes.
Together with film analyst and scriptwriter Dr. Konstantinos (Kay) Papathanasiou, and the renowned music composer Dreamstate Logic, we are creating a story that we hope will change the way you look at the sky.
